For all of those who didnt get Buffett tickets for D town, Jack Johnson and Ben harper are playing down the street the same day at Meadowbook
"mini-me Pine Knob" the show starts at 630 , that would give Jack plenty of time to do his set and still make it over to the Knob. I doubt that will happen though.

Glad to see Jack's finally getting some props since he does claim to be a Parrothead. Also glad to see him getting more play nation wide, he's been pretty big here in So Cal for a while. That would be an awesome day. I saw Jack this Summer with Ben joining in for a few songs, great show. Going up to Berkeley for this tour. Can't wait to see them both do full sets. Hopefully Jack will do his cover of A Pirate Looks at 40 again this time around.

For those who will attend the Alpine Valley show Jack Johnson and Ben Harper will be at Summerfest in Milwaukee, the day before the Buffett show. Tickets go on sale at Noon on 3-22-03.

Sounds like a great show. Has anybody else picked up Ben Harper's new album, "Diamonds On The Inside"? I think it's pretty amazing. If anyone is interested, you can hear a few songs here.

Maybe Jimmy will join Jack Friday, and vice versa Saturday! It didn't even dawn on me that Alpine was during Summerfest...
