Jimmy and Jerry Jeff

Post by ass of the coon »

Is it too much to ask for Jimmy and Jerry Jeff to get together and do a tour? I would love to see those two on stage together. I would probably pass out when they played Railroad Lady together. I gets me all jittery just thinking about it. I really think they would compliment each other. Somebody make it happen. PLEASE. I'm begging here. Don't make me cry.

They have been on stage together. Just this past August. And Saturday is JJW's bday concert in Austin, TX "with special surprise guest". AB & I are going and we'll let you know who it was when we recuperate.
Well...(said in my best Bubba voice) I've been on sabbatical.

JJW

I saw Jerry Jeff about a year ago at the Varsity in Baton Rouge. Django Walker, his son of course, opened for him. Django was pretty good. It was the first time the 2 had ever shared a stage and you could tell it meant a LOT to them both. His concerts are a blast just like JBs, maybe not of the same magnitude though  . Let us know how it goes.

Jimmy was on JJW's show "Texas Connection" several years ago, early 90's I think, I have it on video and on a cassette tape. Fingers was with them. Great show!
