Just want to say hello to all you guys! I 'm a new poster but I have been dropping in occasionally for a few years now just to see what's going on, and you guys really seem to have a lot of fun. I've been a faithful follower of Buffett since I was first introduced in my college days in the the late 80's. I have every album and I do not have any particular favorite, it only depends on what kind of mood I'm in at the time. I hail from the coastal shores of Eastern North Carolina (the home of Blackbeard) and I would never dream of living anywhere else. The things that I love are - My Wife, good friends, all things coastal, Buffett, East Carolina University sporting events and tailgating, Kayaking, Seafood, EC Bar-B-Q, and occaionally an ice cold beer (or two). Here's to everyone who keeps the Buffett message alive and well. Thanks!

welcome aboard, i know that east carolina has some of the classiest fans in college sports, and the fact that you are Buffett fan makes it all the better. Not trying to turn things to a sports conversation here, but you guys got a really great coach to replace logan. i really look foward to seeing how your defence will perform this year and i hope you guys are 11-0 going into 11/29/03. But i do hope that will be a very very very long day for your pirates. Once again, welcome aboard

Also thanks to USMParrothead, for the comments about ECU, I have always had the utmost respect for USM. It usually is a long day when we play you guys. I've been to USM for several games when we play and have always had a great time. My best friend lives in Mandeville, LA just north of New Orleans. If I ever move away from EC it will be to LA. Beautiful state and the people are GREAT!!!
