Anyone know the average amount of fees that Ticketmaster tacks on to a $36 lawn seat? Trying to figure out how much I'm gonna need to collect from the crew....

I just got 2 tickets to the MN Wild playoff game next monday. 2 $20 tickets cost me $53. Why do I have to pay 13 dollars to pick them up at will call?
Rip off I call it.

As a matter of fact, my tickets just came in the mail yesterday, so this is easy to answer! :D
Easy of my $36.00 lawn tickets ended up costing $45.45 after fees.

Which begs the question: this is convenient, HOW? (KNOW it's the only game in town and we have no choice, and I don't begrudge a CENT of the ticket price, but, dammit, what's TM done for us lately?)

You know, TM still gouges you on the lawn: why should a thirty-odd dollar ticket end up in the mid-to-high forties? They must have some fancy-pants printers there.

Agreed, or none of us would do it, but I deal with TM because I have no choice, not because they're "convenient".

Ticketmaster fees are outrageous, and tend to be higher for online puchases than they are for in person ones.
