I probibly just missed this. But I just noticed I lost my lil avatr, and I went to get it back. And the avatrs were missing! Are they gone?

Hey Matt,
The Avatars (sp??) used to be hosted on the BuffettNews server, but since we've been running into problems with to much traffic on the website Jim disabled that function. If the image you want to use as your avatar is hosted on the web somewhere just copy the URL address and paste it into the bottom of your
profile.

Supposedly... this is from the Avatar explanation:
Displays a small graphic image below your details in posts. Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 100 pixels, a height no greater than 100 pixels and a file size no more than 21kB.
Apparently it is
not being enforced... perhaps beause they are linked now, instead of being stored on the BN server.

That's a good question about limiting the sizes. (NO COMMENTS FROM THE PEANUT GALLERY!
). I would think it has/had something to do with taking up space on a server. I'll look into into and try to post a reply in the next phew days.
