Need to find Margaritaville

A few months ago, someone put up a topic titled "I Have Found Margaritaville". It was about a private island in North Carolina, I believe. I'm beginning to make summer vacation plans, and was looking for this topic, but could not find it. I tried searching, but that was no luck. Does anybody remember this post, and where it was at?

Another place not to be overlooked on the Outer Banks of NC is an island called Ocracoke which is only accessible by car ferry. Really, really nice, small relaxed place with miles of unspoiled beach. We live in Va. Beach and it's only about 4 hours (including ferry ride) so we're lucky enough to be able to go down there frequently.

Hope this all helps.

Yes, that's it! I don't know why I could'nt find that thread, but thanks so much for helping. I'm thinking it might be a great honeymooning destination here in a couple of years as well, what do you all think?

Boy am I lucky! My aunt & uncle have a house on Sunset Beach and I go at least once or twice a year. I had no idea it was Margaritaville, but now that you mention it, it fits! What an awesome, relaxing place.

Sunset Beach and any of the other beach communities of Brunswick County are very special. You can't go wrong planning a vacation there. My wife and I usually spend a week or so there every June.
As someone mentioned above, I would also suggest Ocracoke Island, a little farther North. I go there as often as possible, the 2 hour ferry ride is sometimes the best, most beautiful and relaxing time I have ever spent anywhere, and once you get there it only gets better.
