Did anybody have any luck?

I tried the on line service starting exactly at 10 and was offered lawn seats right off the bat (10:01). I passed on those and thought maybe I could still hit some covered seats. But to no avail. Lots of waiting and every combination search returned no tickets available. By 10:14 the web site was reporting no tickets available. My wife tried the phone but didn't get through until about 10:15 and the recorded announcement said tickets were unavailable.

Hope others had better luck. Guess I should have stuck with the original Lawn Seats. It would be better than what I have now!

Although I see the ticket brokers already have seats available. $500 for row P sec. 102. I'm going to have to work pretty long to afford that kind of ticket.

Got a couple of lawn seats but was disappointed when I saw they had raised limit from 4 to 8 TIX. It's too bad the little guy doesn't have a chance at the decent seats.

I was able to get 8 reserved in row ccc section 203. I just kept hitting refresh and actually got through. I love cable internet! Ive tried before and had dial up with no luck. Right before 10 I had called my friends in line and they were 4th and said there were only 8 blocks of seats left in reserved. The first guy in their line got the last seats row bbb center. They were 4th in line and only were able to get 4 lawn. I hope the rest of you had some luck.

10th in line (worst I've ever done). Where we were, the reserved were gone by second in line. Person behind me in line was denied completely. Whew.

Hi Shrimper Dan, Tatted Maccaw and Capt. P,

Glad you got tickets. Have room for two more? :)

I thought maybe with Ticketmaster's new "security" word system we'd have a better shot. I just waited as it said (if you hit refresh you'll lose your place in line, it says...). Last year it seemed like it was easier, although it was still lawn seats. Even with a cable conncetion. Better try the T-1 at work next year.

I'm just amazed that all the tickets were gone so quickly. Are all concerts this way these days? I'm a few years removed from sitting in line all night and only attend a few "big" events each year, so I don't have much recent experience.

At least there's Radio Margaritaville!

Feeling lucky

I usually have the perfect plan to snag Alpine tickets in MPLS, but since Rainbow Foods went belly up they no longer have TicketBastard.

Went to Mervyn's and scored six lawn. That's nice, but the last two years I got sweet-ass pavilion even with the 15-minute block.

Seems nobody knew about Rainbow Foods...

Oh well, lawn is great but wishing for a seat.

we were 7th and 8th in line. 7th person got alpine no prob, 8th got chicago no prob. We stayed cause people who overslept wanted us to get them tickets. at 1025 alpine was sold out, and the machine was only spitting out 2 tickets at a time for tinley. See you all at both shows/

Was on line at 10 and was already logged in with my ticketmaster account and got 2 section 202 row gg. I guess the fewer tickets you get the better seats there are as most people ask for 8 and they put them all together.
See you all there.
