Did you like the mix of songs?

It was the best setlist of the Tki Time tour

Vegas Setlist

Post by ph4life »

I thought he played too many songs that weren't his own, especially for encores. Southern Cross is a good song and Jimmy plays it awesome, but ASN as an encore? What happened to some of the new versions on MMIM? Or at least classics that he recorded.......We'll see how it evolves down the road this year.
We used to laugh at Grandpa when he'd head off and go fishing. But we wouldn't
be laughing that evening when he'd come back with some whore he picked up in
town.

Watching Jimmy call the band back on the stage for Another Saturday Night I got the impression it wasn't planned. Overall I liked the set. I've given up on hearing all my favorites and just hope he slips one in every now and then (this time I got knees of my heart and wino). Plus I love the new Tiki Bar is Open, Saxaphones and the live Boomerang Love. No complaints here.

Concert would have been a whole heck of a lot better, If Steve Hunnington coulda kept the feed going, and not feel the need to talk until the set is over, or when it begins

Good set list, overall. Liked the Nashville and Atlanta sets better, but who am I to complain? :P I, too, agree with CIC that ASN seemed to be a spur of the moment thing. Hopefully JB will continue the "last minute" stuff with different songs, just to keep us on our toes.

The feed from Vegas was good up to a point, but I didn't even try to record since Vegas is notorious for a bad feed, so I am just glad we got as good a broadcast as we did. Even the best internet connection would NOT suffice at times.

Gumby is correct on that one part; I don't think Steve was aware that Jimmy would come back on at all for "Lovely Cruise."

Jimmy does pull a FEW surprises, which we are thankful for.

Why did I see someone post that he did Math Suks!? I know I didn't hear that one. Maybe they did too much gambling!!!

That was the general thought that ASN was not planned. It seemed as if Jimmy had to coax the band back onstage. He has played that for an encore in Vegas before though. I love hearing him play Viva LasVegas which he did not play!!
