Hula Contest

Post by O2B that Honeysuckle Vine »

Just wondering the process to win the hula contest.

I assume it is similar to being picked to go on stage last year? Once picked, am I correct that you hula with the girls on stage during WDWGDAS or do you dance alone? :D

Should one start taking Hula lessons now!! :P

Wanna go back down and a' get high by the sea there !!

I'm thinking last year was more about the costume, and this year is more about the dance, as long as appropriately dressed to hula.

And inevitably, it's about attitude and winning over the crowd!
You’re still grinning, we’re still winning, nothing left to say
I’m still gliding as I go flying down this endless wave

CRC covered costume AND dance....the girl in Houston wasn't dressed as elaborately.....couldn't really tell much about her dancing ability, as the Reeferettes had the steps down to a minimum....

CRC did a great job.....costume definitely caught the judges'/crowd's eye and then she did her hula thing and the rest, as they say, is HERstory!!!

Question: "And now Kenny Chesney has recorded a beach album." Jimmy's Answer: "It's flattering. Some people say I should be p*** off about it but I'm really not. It's the highest form of flattery, and I'm fine with it."
