Looks like a great setlist. I hope some of these songs sneak into the summer setlist. I can only imagine they will...nice to see Cuban Crime and Smart Woman back.
Interesting choice for an opener considering Only Time Will Tell (and OPH for that matter) has been played in that slot before.
And what is this Scarlet Begonia song? I wonder if it sounds anything like Grateful Dead's Scarlet BegoniaS ???

Yes-I believe he has mastered another Grateful Dead tune. I'm kinda surprised that he didn't do License To Chill as well.

Yes! I saw him perform this (Scarlet Begonias) in Jan. in San Jose! It was great!

Set-list is pretty cool. But here is my question, does it mean something that he did not play LTC? With the way he promoted the song in the Si issue and on TV, you'd think he'd play it, right?

Sounds like a great concert. I only hope that since it was a benefit concert, that is the only reason why it was not a show of usual length.

Yeah, the Sublime cover is awesome - I love how it stays true to the Dead original but still adds some Sublime style with the "rap" section towards the end.
Can't wait to hear Jimmy cover, please please for Camden and/or Nissan

I think no LTC has to do with the delay in the album... Let's just hope he plays it at the real shows!
PS - Who agrees that Great Heart should stay the opener? It is one of my favorites!

Great Heart is a good song, but if it was the opener again that'd be 3 out of the last 5 tours.

I love the opening songs...this is my idea...
LAGE NOMI NOMI (Remember that? Needs to happen again!)
BLUE GUITAR (A nod to PM)
I WILL PLAY FOR GUMBO
NEVER WORK IN DIS BIDNESS AGAIN
LIVINGSTON SATURDAY NIGHT (I know, Fingers would need to be back.)
USS ZYDECOLDSMOBILE (If Sonny Landreth ever goes on tour with JB.)
By the way...

Those were my suggestions for high-energy openers.

I Love The Now would be an incredible opener in my opinion.

There is no pleasing us parrotheads. We complain that he does LTC now were complaining that he's not doing it. lol The acoustic version on the Today Show last month or two was awesome in my oppinion and he sounded great!
2 DAYS TILL TAMPA!!
It would be nice if he brought Tin Cup of Chalice back on the set.

You know, in my humble opinion, I would not mind if he did not play "License to Chill." It's okay, but compared to the other songs on the album...it doesn't add up.
