Just watched
Roy Orbison and Friends: Black & White Night
on my local

station and was quite impressed with
Mr. Utley's appearance.
Very dapper! Anyone else ever notice it?
I've seen it several times in the past and never realized it was him!

Shoot! I've caught bits and pieces of it over the years, but never realized Utley was in it!

Totally not Buffett, but an excellent show. Mr. Utley, I believe, is musical coordinator for the show. Springsteen, Jackson Browne,Elvis Costello, Bonnie Raitt, k.d. lang, (that's all I can remember off the top of my bald head)...Great show...

YES! It
was LBTB! I even taped a little of it.
I'm not sure where my tape went...

but I picked up a "real"
copy in KW last November.
(Thanks for the M'ville $$$, Auntie!
)
I wonder what it takes to get permission to use things like that
for the PBS fundraisers.

They show the John Denver Wilderness Concert
and the Statler Brothers Farewell Concert
all the time which is all right with me because those are some of my favorite bands/people.

I watched that on PBS and saw Utley all over the place. I just had to buy the DVD and have watched it several times. Good stuff. I just love to watch Utley smile through all the seriousness. Don't chu know!?
As I watched Mac during the New Orleans show, he seemed to be sort of directing the music things, although at one point I thought he was sleeping.

I hope we can see that on video again soon.
