The concert was awesome! After spending the weekend and attending the two shows in San Diego I was lucky enough to recieve a free buddy pass on American West Airlines and a kictchen pass from my lovely wife so I could fly to Phoenix from my home in Colorado Springs and attend the show Tuesday night at Desert Sky. It was 3 shows in a row and they got better each time. In Phoenix the security was very laid back and they would let you dance in the aisles and have fun where in San Diego the ushers would be all over you and make you get back in your seat(that is part of there job but at times they carried it a bit to the extreme). The lawn was a huge party and just packed to the max. I fortunately got a ticket for the 8th row and was able to enjoy the concert up close. Hats off to both Phoenix and San Diego Parrotheads for helping this Colorado Parrothead enjoy 3 great shows. And congratualtions to Matt Fairbanks on becoming engaged. It was nice meeting you and your fiancee. You and your wife to be make great parrotheads and will soon make a great married couple. I expect a wedding invitation soon.

Have to say the Phoenix show was unbelievable! Jimmy and the band were tight, and the music was top-notch. He seemed to have all the energy in the world, and truly does look like he enjoys his work! I went to the Vegas show as well, and thought the Phoenix show blew it away. Maybe it's the atmosphere in the parking lot, or the outdoor amphitheatre, but Jimmy was meant to be seen and heard outside! Not to belittle Vegas, but indoors at the MGM Grand Garden takes a little away from the experience... however, seeing 15,000 parrotheads swarming all over the casino before the concert is indeed a sight to be seen! Loved Jimmy singing "Manana" at the beginning of the second set, and "Pacing the Cage" is a great last encore to wrap up the evening. Going to the Irvine Meadows concert on Saturday night... looking forward to my 3rd show in 2 weeks. If Tuesday night was any indication, then the SoCal parrotheads are in for a treat this weekend... Fins up!

After 20 years of escaping with Jimmy to not so far off places, I have to say that this trip was by far the best! He sounded great and looked even better. "Manana" was definitely a highlight to the evening. I'm not sure if it was James up there buzzing the parking lot in his plane, but I sure would like to think it was.... THAT WAS AWESOME! I hope I never hear Jimmy utter "retirement" with a straight face!!!!!!! JIMMY BUFFETT ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What an absolute blast!! I have seen Jimmy B a whole lot of times but I have to say that the show in Phx this year was one of the best that I have been to. Watching the "Hemisphere Dancer" flying over the venue was a very special treat. One of the local news stations showed the plane the next morning and it was so cool. The interior of the plane has all of Jimmy's toys (sea kayak, fly rods etc.) strapped to the walls and ceiling. The music and band were outstanding !!!! It was a perfect show to take my 9 year old daughter to for her 1st Buffett Concert. Fins up to all the Parrotheads out there and I hope your next concert is as good as the one we enjoyed here.

Totally took all my worries and stresses away! I was fortunate to see the Saturday show in San Diego and the Tuesday show in Phoenix. Both were outstanding. I had my big bro fly in from Portland, Oregon and gave him the greatest 40th birthday present one could give; two Buffett shows. We had a blast. To make things even better, we took to virgin parrotheads to the Phoenix show and they are hooked! I must say though, Buffett was outstanding as usual, the best part of both concerts were the Parrotheads in the parking lot. It was just outstanding how a bunch of total strangers can get together and share the experience as though we were all relatives. I must take my "Parrothead" hat off and tip it to you fine "Parrotheads" and thank you for such an outstanding time. And hey, from what I understand. Buffett is the only artist to sell out Desert Sky Pavillion on a week night. Now what does that say. Yo ho ho and yes, I had a bottle of Rum! Till we all meet again, keep the faith Parrotheads!
