Those people who braved Boston area traffic to find Johnny D's in Somerville, MA, were well rewarded for their efforts, as Mac delivered yet another fantastic performance!! Two hours of wonderful music flew by and was over far too soon....

Mac is always terrific by himself, but this time he brought company. Jake Shimabukuro joined Mac for a couple of numbers and also played a couple of solos. His rendition of the National Anthem is simply *awesome*. He also performed a song called Touch, from his upcoming album entitled Dragon, that's so beautiful it makes you want to cry.

Peter Mayer joined Mac and Jake for a couple of numbers, including Suzannah.

And lest anyone get upset that Jimmy didn't show up to support Mac, when Mac announced he had some friends with him, he said that Jimmy was resting his voice for tomorrow night.

What a fantastic evening!! Worth every penny at twice the price.

It was dark, and I didn't use a flash, so these aren't the best, but:

Hi Jen!! Are ya going to get any sleep? And you know I was VERY glad Jimmy didnt show up to support Mac! I'm thinking we went to the best shows of the week (Peter and Mac). Hope to run into ya in the lot!!
