Although it sounds like all are having a good time, the sound quality has been awful. This has been the first concert that I have listened to on RM that has had very poor sound quality. The sound quality during half-time was significantly better than the concert sound quality. Hopefully it improves for Saturday.

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAASUP?! El Guapo enjoy Jimmy Mullett
show at Irvine. El Guapo eat, drink & be merry!
El Guapo like de women! Va va vooooom! El Guapo mad at long lines & delays to get in. Jimmy is a
bad, bad mullet for starting when thousands still outside the gates. Nevertheless, El Guapo is happy camper...camping with de Gumbo. Where Savannah Jane? Me likeeeeeee!

Club Trini was fantastic last night (4/27) before the show. How lucky is Jimmy to have such a great band behind them and how down to earth they are! On the last song, "Club Trini back in town", Tina danced with anyone she could! What a fun time. Of course, the Irvine crowd was as great as ever and so was Jimmy!! One show left tomorro

Great Buffett show again. Parking lot opened at 3pm. All players in motion throughout the night. BUT one question, Mr. Utley? Where did you get those green shoes? UGLY!!! It was funny looking around with "We are the people" playing and seeing the younger ones singing along. :) See you all on Saturday. . . . A pirate looking at 51.

Can anyone tell me how much it costs to park a U-haul at Irvine Meadows? I heard somewhere it costs $50 for an RV and want to know if this applies to large trucks.

Jill - Anything but a car is a motor home to the Irvine Parking Gestapo. If you want to have two large vehicles together, make sure you go in that way. They will put you in slots with no choices.
They will charge you 50 smackers.

I thought the show was OK...he needs to change his setlist up a bit AND STOP PLAYING BROWN EYED GIRL!!!!

I would like to thank the Parrotheads in the parking lot who supplied me with bandaids and ointment after I sliced my thumb open (a Corona bottle smashed as I tried to open it...blood was everywhere). The Irvine Police wouldn't help me but there were plenty of friendly folks in the parking lot who searched their cars high and low for bandaids. Thanks again, and I'll see you on Saturday!

Oh, I can't forget to mention how much the Irvine Meadows sucks. The venue itself is great but the place is run very poorly...I missed the first five songs because they made me go all the way to the top of amphitheatre and come back down to get into my seats (Loge 5, second row). Thanks, Irvine Meadows. Thanks for checking my ticket 8 times and making me miss the first five songs. At least Jimmy played songs I had heard many times before or I might have been REALLY upset.

I work at Irvine. The parking lot is "officially" scheduled to open at 3:00pm, but unofficially, they are prepared to open as early as Noon or 1:00pm. They do not expect to be able to hold back all the parrotheads until 3:00pm.

The private band and crew after-party was a blast! I attended with my wife and we were able to meet Jimmy! She even got to dance with him!

If you don't want to get stuck in the lines to get in, DON'T WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO GO IN! 16,000 parrotheads all trying to get in at the same time is always going to be a problem.

God bless Irvine Meadows....

The only venue in America where it costs more to park than it does to enjoy Jimmy.

Irvine has always sucked for convienience for any artist, but of course Jimmy has to play there since his manager Irving Azoff owns or did own a peice of the venue. It is not all about the fans anymore, it's all about the money and what makes the most for Jimmy and especially the management, Wonder where all the good seats go, ask the management company who they sell them to, it's not through the box office or Ticketbastards!! But Jimmy is still the most fun show every year!

Jimmy needs to play more of the old stuff and change up more each night, he has to realize that the same people go multiple nights. (just like a Bruce Sprigsteen show, where Bruce knows that and the set list changes by about 10 songs night to night) Jimmy needs to keep up the loyal die hard fans interest by playing some things we don't expect every show, Cheeseburger, Valcano, Brown eyed girl, Ect.., they are getting worn out each night and he has hundreds of songs that the die hards would be talking about long afterwards if he would play instead of all the predictable commercial songs night after night!!!!!

Why is everyone complaining so much. This is Jimmy we are talking about. I would much rather deal with Irvine and hearing the same songs (which are great)night after night, then not at all. You call yourself parrotheads......relax and enjoy every show while he still plays for us.
