Review : Great show! Bad sound. The set list was great. The band was all "together." The fans were great, but Jimmy needs to be heard and seen outdoors. There was too much reverb in the Compaq center. Put it at the Woodlands next time.

Review : Much better show than New Orleans. The crowd in New Orleans was better but I could hear this show while I had a hard time hearing him in New Orleans (the sound sux in the New Orleans Arena) and I liked this set list better. I agree however that it is better to see Jimmy outdoors. I noticed a small stage behind the big stage so I knew he would play to the back of the arena after the break so I moved back there to get a better view. Migration was great but he did an acoustic version of Who's the Blonde Stranger by himself that was wonderful. The most fitting song of the night was his second encore Fruitcakes referring to losing that "Martian rocket ship".

Review : The set list was great. I have been to many of Jimmy's concerts before, and this was as good as any of them. He just keeps getting better and better. The sound was not as good as it could have been, and I agree he needs to go back to the Woodlands. Jimmy said he would be back in 2000, let's hope that is true and we don't have to wait another two years!

Review : The sow was great, we were in the upper prom of the Compact Center. I thought the sound was ok, Jimmy is a lot better outside. I was glad to hear all the classics, but wanted to hear more from the Beach House CD. What happened to the Houston Parrot Heads? You mean to tell me that when Jimmy goes inside, and the weather is cold Parrot Heads become subdued. It is really strange seeing sweaters, and turtle neck shirts at a Buffett concert. Hope he comes next summer...till then FINS UP.

Review : The show was awesome! The set was great! I was so pumped when he played Who's the Blonde Stranger. I was hoping he'd do a song from Riddles. I agree the sound was bad. I could never tell what he was saying in between songs. Move it back to the Woodlands and back to the summer, but thanks for coming finally. I couldn't hold out much longer.

Review : This show was really worth the trip. Houston fans got to hear songs that on one else did on this tour. Down front on the floor the sound was great and it's the only place to be during an indoor concert. Hey Jimmy.. Come back to The Woodlands in the Spring so I can come back too!! Fins /\Up

Review : So glad to see Jimmy and the Reefers after 21/2 years. Please, please, please, don't wait so long for the return. The sound in the Compact Center is not so good, but it wasn't horrible. I really enjoyed hearing Blond Stranger, Gypsies in the Palace, and songs from Beach House on the Moon. Migration was great as well. If you read these Jimmy thanks for the great show, and the last minute return to Houston. Fins up!!!! Come back soon.

Review : I have now seen Jimmy in 5 different citiies. I made the three and a half hour trip from Corpus Christi to show my new wife what I missed the most about Jimmy. I can honestly say we had half a great time. Musically the show was great. I especially liked the Fruitcakes encore. The half that was missing was the pre-game. I never did find out where the parties were on the day of the show. I missed hanging out in the parking lot at Merriweather on my friends Tri's winnebago.Oh well. At least now my wife better understand why I wear Hawaiiin shirts in Febuary.
