We are thinking of making a big batch of Jumbalaya for the tailgate this year at Alpine. Anyone have a good recipe?

There are some good box mixes that just come with the spices and rice..you add anything else you want. These are cheap and would save you time, but then again everything is better homemade.

If you wanted to do homemade, I am usually able to find decent recipes on cooks.com...just have to search for one to your liking.

My brother-in-law makes Rachel Ray's-- delicious! But while I was trying to find that, I noticed there's LOTS to choose from:

I get my seafood boil from a company called Cajun Zing. We do a boil of shrimp, sausage, corn and potatos. then just rice to mix. It turns polish sausage into hot links and is just incredible.
