Review : What a mess!!! The show last night was one big mudslide and not the boat drink. As expected the young out of control drunk crowd was busy sliding down rain-soaked hills while JB put on a great show. Along with the favorites were also songs from the new album and a little old school Jimmy with Ringling, Ringling and It's My Job. I thought he sounded as good as ever, only improving with age!

Review : Overall, a pretty good show, although disappointing that there was nothing from Havana Daydreaming and no He Went to Paris either. Oh well, he can't do them all. And you're right, the drunks were mudsliding...hell, who wasn't, it was a mess.

Review : Another great show... 3rd one we've been to this year. Love the new stuff from BHOTM. Although similar, the set list was a lot different than at Camden earlier in the tour. Mud!!! that's an understatement both in Meriweather and the parking lot. The 3 impossibilities at the show: 1) Standing in the Lawn 2) Keeping clean in the Lawn 3) Leaving the Lawn not looking like a drowned rat Only downer was the cops in the parking lot. Did anyone see even one of them smile or say anything other than when they were issuing a citation?? It also looked like they all got new hair cuts for the big night. Oh well... %&$#@ happens! Headed to Key West in 8 weeks for MOTM. Fins Up... Life's short... Play hard!

Review : It was raining, it was pouring, the young crowd was boring. Jimmy played up to his usual best, but kids looked more intrested in making it look like a mudslide park. There was a nice mix of old and new songs. Summer just isn't long enough. Fins up.

Review : hey out there to all the wet parrothead who survived the hurricane type conditions. I was in the front row so I managed to stay dry the whole time. I was the guy in the cowboy hat coconut bra and grass skirt. Buffett held up my calculus book during Math Sucks. I thought the concert was great. I cant wait till buffett records his version of southern cross. He played all my favorites. PS Merriweather sucks and is unworthy of Buffett and his faithful followers. Beall

Review : Jimmy was great, but Merriweather sucks!!!! The policing of the parking lot area took away alot of the fun. It was impossible to stay standing on the lawn, and the younger drunk crowd was out control with the mud sliding. One request - stop the marshmallow throwing!! No one enjoys getting bombed with a slimy, muddy marshmallow. Jimmy was excellent as always, really wish he would record southern cross. looking forward to a drier concert at a nicer pavilion.

Review : It was the probably the worst concert I was ever at!!! Some things were beyond anyone's control, such as the weather. The one night out of a whole summer that has been a drout it had to pick this night to let loose. This is also the first time I had been at Merriweather Post Pavilion (Columbia, Maryland) and I was not at all impressed. Because of the rain, it had turned the place into a mud slide. Literally!! The place slopes down and it was actually hard to just stand there and watch without sliding into the mud. Also, because of the hugeness of the whole place, from where I had to stand, I could barely hear anything. I could not see the stage (being only 5 feet tall and standing several football fields away from where the stage was I couldn't see a damn thing except the images on the video screen. Anyway, being a really big fan, I finally got to see a Buffett concert, yippe. Can I get a refund?

Review : I'm a huge parrothead! I love JB and the show was awesome - only because I had a seat. I've seen Jimmy in several venues and Merriweather venue was the worst. Most likely because of the rain, rain, rain, then the police dumping my Margarita in the parking lot (no fine though), then the fact that I couldn't get in the parking lot until I bought a lawn ticket on the street, and then $7 for a beer (give me a break). I then bought another ticket for a seat because I could see the rain wasn't letting up. The lawn was so sloped I felt bad for those guys up there. I think JB should have played 1 or 2 more songs because of the conditions that night. I'm going to Great Woods this week to see him. Can't wait.

Review : I thought the show was fantastic! This was my first Jimmy Buffett concert and was not disappointed! I loved that he ended the show with "Pacing the Cage." And I concur with the other fans that "Southern Cross" was incredible. I think it made it even better with the entire crowd singing along. Yes, I was under cover, but barely. But, I thought this was a forum to review the show, not the other people in attendance. I don't know where those of you who couldn't hear were standing, because I walked all around the place during the show, and never had trouble hearing or seeing the large screens. Leave it to Marylanders to find something to be gripe about. You grumpy fans need to take a load off!

Review : Oh my god the rain!! But I had a great time at my very first Buffett concert in 20 years of being a fan. It was great fun and I met some very nice parrotheads! Thanks to who ever sent in the set list. I've made a copy to keep with my ticket stub. Merriweather was not all that user friendly to the lawn seat crowd. You'd think that since the site is on a hill they would have better drainige. This can't possibly be the first concert it has ever rained on. I did not drink and I shudder to think how bad the drunks would have been if the beer had been cheaper....

Review : Had to "REASON WITH THE THUNDERSTORM SEASON" , and the parking lot felt like church. But nothing can keep Jimmy's show down, not even cathing my grass skirt on fire. SEE YA NEXT YEAR

Review : As an avid parrothead for quite a few years now, I do have to say that this was an interesting feeding frenzy at the least. I had been to Manassas for both of the shows there, and had a tremendous time without being hassled by any police; I think one time that the local authority asked me to put my Corona into a cup, but that was the only thing that they did. Arriving to rainsoaked Columbia was rather amusing, but after the first ten or so Coronas, I felt like I was having boat drinks in the Caribbean. For anyone who was complaining about the rain, STAY HOME! While it is true that the rain sucked, nothing is going to rain on my parade. By the time that we stumbled into the show, I thought I was having christmas in the caribbean because of all the mudsliding down the lawn section. I told myself I wasn't going to do it, but after about an hour, I coudn't resist. Oh well, clothes can be replaced, but memories like that last a lifetime. For anyone who got splattered with mud, too bad. Pretend that you were being sprayed by the ocean waves down in Key West. The show was great, the beer was colder, and trust me, the girls were even hotter! Peaceout, BG
