Review : The show in Cinci was awesome. It had been raining on and off since around 10am and finally stopped around 3:00. A group of of came in from Cleveland since Jimmy didn't come there this year. We got to the hotel and started up with the drinking. The entire hotel was filled with parrotheads--grilling out at the pool, overlooking the balcony, passing out various rum jello shots-even a margarita jello shot with salt on the top!!! We took our limo bus over to the show around 6:30. The only dissapointment about Cincinnati is the police in the parking lot, they won't allow too much tailgating, which is a big Buffett bummer. However, that didn't stop us. We entered the gates around 7:15 and talked with numerous phans and checked out the t-shirt scene. We found our place on the grass (the only way to do it) about 7:45. We waited in anticipation as the "countdown 'til launch" clock ticked away. It stopped at 10 seconds and then Walter came in with the countdown. Jimmy came out and we all went nuts. You can tell just by the great setlist of what a great show it was. It was nice to hear Pasagoula Run. Cairo was great too. You know the favorites were amazing though with all of the phans screaming the lyrics at the top of their lungs. Jimmy was smiling the entire show. He played a tremendous One Particular Harbour. My group was going totally nuts. As he ended, people just continued chanting "JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY!!!" He came back out and intoduced the entire band, which was really cool. I wanted to hear "Math Suks" because lets face it, it does. After the band introductions Jimmy said, "And I hear we have a little math problem here in Cincinnati huh?" Then the music kicked in and we went to town. Then when that one ended and he kicked in Johnny B. Goode....awesome. All 40,000 people there were singing and dancing along and just having a great time. He left again, only to come back out to the screaming phans. He played Pacing the Cage, as we knew he would, but it was nice, everyone put their arms around each other and swayed from side to side. It was an excellent show!!! I went through 2 rolls of film. I can't wait to get them developed. Long live the King of the Carribean!!!!!!!

Review : Jimmy was awesome as usual this fine night in Cincinnatti, Ohio. I thought the Reeferettes version of Cairo was excellent! Nice to see them get some 'air time'. Jimmy sounded great on all songs, I just wish he had the freedom to play more songs from Fruitcakes, Barometer Soup, etc. Concerts need to be 3 day MARATHONS! Love Jimmy, he rules!

Review : I was lucky enough to get tickets in the pavillion this year, albeit in the last row. I've done the lawn and pavillion before and found that the last row of the pavillion gets you the best of both. We were close enough to hear and see the happenings on the lawn, yet we had dry seats and did not have to worry about the pinball effect on the lawn. The show was awesome as usual. I guess that having the Reeferettes and Mac singing a couple songs gives Jimmy a break, but it would have been nice to hear more of his stuff instead. I've been going to see Bubba since $5 got a ticket at TimberWolf in the early 80s and this one ranks right up there. This year's experience has been enhanced by the Radio Margaritaville broadcasts of the other concerts. It's been interesting to see the evolution of the playlist during the tour. I was able to listen to Saturday's show with my 4 year old parakeet. We didn't let her come to the show because we don't think she's quite ready, but she knows many of the songs. She was really excited to hear Cincinnati mentioned in the songs and dialogue in between. From the comments I've heard from people that went to the Saturday show, things were really out of control on the lawn. I'm not going to put the blame on visiting pheads since I sat and talked with several from Rhode Island, Columbus, and Cleveland before the show and they were cool during the show. At Thursday's show, there was one young lady who had been leaning against the rail at the front of the lawn and had to be helped by her boyfriend and security after she passed out. Her boyfriend was pretty belligerent to the security guys who were tryng to help. We also had Mr. I've Had Too Much To Drink And Think I Can Dance sitting next to us. At the end of WDWGDAS, he excused his way past us to the end of the aisle, jumped into the security pit and scampered over the wall and railing to do a mosh pit dive onto the lawn crowd. The security guys weren't amused, but they did not do anything. They did stop him from coming back to his seat later and made him go around to the side entrance of the pavillion when he returned. I don't think that the Grapefruit karaoke went very well since I could not hear many people around me or nearby on the lawn singing. I noticed that he skipped it at Saturday's show, but brought it back last night at Polaris. Fins Up! Mike <

Review : This was my second Jimmy Buffett concert and it was by far the best!! I was about 5 rows back and near the center. Jimmy always puts on a great show, but this one had something special about it. I was freaking out of the thought that Jimmy might have been able to see me and the fact that we were sharing the same air. There were 2 drunk ladies infront of us who introduced us to everyone as their younger siblings. I was raised on Jimmy Buffett music and words can not express how great it was to hear my favorite songs live. I lied to my parents and went with my boyfriend and best friend to a concert 3 hours away in another state. I got yelled at when i got home but it was well worth it. The atmosphere was amazing and the Coral Reefers were excellent. I especially loved Pacing The Cage. It was a great way to end the night. I give the concert an 11 on a scale of 1-10. See all of you wacky parrotheads at the next concert!

Review : Quite possibly the, best, most complete Jimmy Buffett show I have ever experienced, and I have been to over a dozen. By far the best time I have had since my first show. Jimmy seemed revived and full of energy again. The show had a nice flow, and my only complaint was that it didn't last longer.
