Review : The show was amazing. I loved Mac singing "It's my Job". It also seemed that Fingers brushed up his version of "Sweet Home Chicago", much better than the one at thursday's show. The crowd went absolutely nuts when the band played it. This is my 10th summer seeing Jimmy and I can't remember the band sounding as good as they do on this tour. The tailgate was actually a pretty good one, even the the World's "Hitler youth" going around telling people to pack it up at 5:30pm. Our group forgot the food so we had pizzas delivered to the parking lot. Another fantastic show. I can't wait to go to Cincinnati on the 21st of August.

Review : The band and Jimmy were great to see and it was wonderful to get another "Parrothead" fix. The major problem with the show was actually with the New World Music Theater. This place is the worst "barn" to see a show at. The sound quality sucks. The place should be torn down and Poplar Creek rebuilt in it's place. There are way too many expensive lousy seats located off to the side within the pavilion. Thank God (and Jimmy) for Parrotvision. It was the only thing that half-way saved the night, but once again, if you didn't know all the words, you'd have had a very hard time understanding the show. His spoken comments were, for the most part, unintelligible. It will be back to Alpine Valley again next year. Alpine is a much better venue and much more laid-back, as Jimmy would want it. Jimmy, please stay out there entertaining the world. With so much tragedy, hatred and greed around us, we need a person like you around to "ease our pain", as you once said. God bless you, we love you. See you again soon.

Review : This is my 12th year of seeing Jimmy, and once again "I HAVE FOUND ME A HOME" my very own "MARGARITAVILLE". I have attended somewhere around 17+ shows over those 12 years and this years compared to every other BUFFETT concert it was a "LOVELY CRUISE". With tree loads of "STRANGE BIRD"s. I attended three concerts in a weeks span so "COME MONDAY" I'll be saying "I WISH LUNCH COULD LAST FOREVER"!! The crowd at all the concerts were not "QUIETLY MAKING NOISE", "WE WERE THE PEOPLE OUR PARENTS WARNED US ABOUT". Everyone was acting like "GYPSIES IN THE PALACE" everyone always having a great time and some having to good of a time and you all know what I mean, we've all been there. I hope all who attended this years concerts were able to "SURVIVE", and stay out of the "COCONUT TELEGRAPH". This year was most exciting for me, I have been "PACING THE CAGE" for many years and I finally got front row. I also brought my parents to join in their first Parrothead experience after promising them year after year that I would and they finally got to witness and meet some of the "FRUITCAKES" I have been talking about over the years. So they got to see "THE KING OF SOMEWHERE HOT" up close. They were amazed with everything that was going on around them, all the "BOAT DRINKS" that were being consumed. They figured a lot of "SEMI TRUE STORY"s would be told the following day. This has truly been an unforgettable year. I will "MISS YOU SO BADLY". Thank you for everything. I will be patiently "WAITING FOR THE NETX EXPLOSION" So, "FINS UP"!!!!!!!!!!!

Review : Wow what a great weekend in Margaritaville. The Thursday and Saturday shows were the best in years. I was also lucky enough to have tickets to the Mac McAnally show at Schuba's in Chicago on Friday night! The show was excellent Fingers Peter and Nadirah all joined in on the show. Mac and crew did a few new tunes off beach house and alot of old and new Mac tunes. The place held only 200 or so people. After the show they gave out a radio sampler of Mac's new CD and Mac was outside to sign them. Fins up to all who made it to Chicago this weekend it will be a weekend to remember.

Review : We saw both the Alpine show and the World on the 24th. The Alpine show was simply incredible. The show on the 24th was great too but the venue sucks. We only go there for Jimmy. "Southern Cross" was one of the many highlights. We are looking forward to spending many more summers with Jimmy!!!

Review : Once again, we thought the show was great. We actually flew to Chicago from San Antonio, Texas just to see the show. It just always seems to go to fast. The beginning of the show seemed to start out slower than all the shows we've seen in the past but true to form the show picked up tempo and was another one to remember. The only regret I had was seeing very young children, maybe 4 or 5, that will never get to see Jimmy when they are older and remember him how they should. Not that I'm guessing Jimmy will die soon but everyone decides that it's time to quit. How many more years can we expect to enjoy the shows? Who knows. We give the show four thumbs up!! Thanks again for the diversion from life! Ken Knecht

Review : My Review: My fifteenth show and this time introduced my thirteenth year old son to the man who saved me from winter cabin fever in 1976. I still can't believe seeing J.B. in 1985-1986 in Des Moines on a flat bed truck behind second base after a AAA Cubs game and now playing at a venue called New World Music Theater where the sound quality stinks. Each year when I buy tickets I get further back with limited viewing. This time it is section 204, row OO, seats 1 and 2. It is hard to hear J.B. in between songs and once again two young goofs were fist fighting in the aisle right next to us. HEY-it's not Woodstock 99. Please bring back P.Creek venue or maybe It is time to switch to A. valley. Anyway this probably will be it...I have discovered a "female" Buffett and her name is Melissa Ferrick who plays in Chicago, and I certainly won't be in in section 204, rows OO after 23 years.

Review : Im 37 and i just got to see jimmy for the very first time! What a great day and evening. The day started ion Grand Rapids at the B.O.B. for a cheeseburger and margarita party. After the confussion and slight frusteration of geting on the bus, we, me and seven of my friends started a great day. We made fast friends with 14 other women on the bus and hurteld down the highway buffetting all the way. What a BLAST!!!! we arrived in the venue just as the show was starting. The songs were terrific. out tickets were for the lawn but we saw the first 4 songs in scamed seats then made our way to center lawn. He sounded wounderful(however the sound quality was a little crappy) I was just so glad to actualy experiance the parrott head phenomenom in person. I loved Southern cross, i hope it gets on the live album this fall. In my opiniun he could drop cheesburger and insert any other song. also i loved the pacing the cage encore! All in all i had a Abolutly wonderful DAY & NIGHT I will see him again! THANKS JIMMY, I love ya man!

Review : Jimmy, once again you put on an awesome show!!! Like all the other comments Tinley Park isn't the greatest place to see a concert, but when you have the worlds greatest performer and his band on stage ... who cares! The Walter Cronkite reports were great. Utley's "I dream of Gennie" bit was a scream. Every year we get older, but each year we have more and more fun at your concerts! I guess it's true that we're growing older, but not up! Thank You Jimmy and the Corral Reafer Band for all you have done.

Review : This is my last year at Tinley Park. I love Jimmy, but the venue is too bad to endure any more. I am been lucky enough to attend four concerts at Great Woods, Massachusetts, so I know the difference. The parking lot set up at Tinley is very uncomfortable from a partying stand point (very unfriendly to those needing facilities). I guess I could have dealt with the dumb "security" guys telling us that we had to go into the park at 5:30 (it was over 98 then!) and later telling us after the show that we couldn't snack at our car even though nobody was going anywhere that was trying to get our of the parking lot. The final straw was the sound system. I have been there three years and have had seats from row 4 to almost the last row of the pavillion. You might as well be in a cave. Ironically, I hear that the lawn sound system is much better. Everyone seems to think that Alpine is good, so that will probably be my next stop. PLEASE Jimmy, if there is another option in the south Chicago area, consider it.

Review : Jimmy was amazing as he always is. If you were at the show Thurs or Sat you already know the Venue sucks. Sound is awful and it took me longer to get a beer than it did to fly out from Pittsburgh. Partying at the Hampton Inn was great. Met a lot of people from all over the US. First time for me in Chitown and if Jimmy continues to play, I may try to fly out again as long as he doesn't play at Tinley. Southern Cross, Pacing the Cage, and all the must plays were great. See you in Columbia MD.

Review : This was my first Buffett show I have ever had the privelage of seeing. My fellow Parrothead buddies have seen several shows. We traveled from Wichita Kansas to Chicago for the show. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Worth every hour spent in the "Heat Wagon". The show was bright and full of energy. The entire experience has prompted me to write this review. Everything from the anticipation of the trip to hanging out with 15,000 new friends in the parking lot to the iceing on the cake, the show. I wish that I had the literary skills to put my feelings down in words. I can only say thank you Chicago and thank you Jimmy Buffett for the first of hopefully many more such trips. GREAT SHOW! Review : The show started out strong and got better with every song. The temperature was hot and so was Jimmy and the crew! When they played Southern Cross, the crowd went nuts. It was the most powerful rendition I have ever heard. (Like to see it recorded.) During the entire show (2 1/2 hrs.)I didn't see one fan sitting down. Jimmy, if you keep going the way you are, you really will be on the moon one day! The show was, in a word, fantastic!
