Review = as a recently converted parrot head...i have to say last night's show is pretty much my idea of the perfect concert alpine is always a great place to see a show...but i had never seen it more alive than last night. i have never been to a concert where such a huge range of people from all over the place could all come together for a night and all get along and kick back. the music was incredible, and last night's "brown eyed-girl" was beyond belief! thanks jimmy, and everyone for a sweet time. all the best

Review : You gotta love Jimmy! The Alpine concert was the best. The party in the parking lot was the start to a great night. The rain stopped just in time. Jimmy's Southern Cross was kick butt. His new CD is great-I Will Play for Gumbo. Where does he get all his energy? We had 2 buffett virgins in our group and they're ready for the next tour!

Review : AMAZING!!!! Alpine has got to be the best outdoor venue in the entire Midwest if not the nation! Jimmy always puts on a great show in East Troy. The stage backdrop was awesome, the band was awesome and as always;Jimmy was spectacular! It was well worth the bus trip with my fellow St. Minnesomeplace Parrothead freinds from Mpls-StPaul. The soggy start to tailgating was never felt....there was too much PHLOCKING for anyone to notice the rain! 26 hours after the concert I still have goose pimples! JIMMY ROCKS!!

Review : This was my first Buffett concert, but definitely not my last. Buffett lived up to everything I had heard and then some. Parking lot phlocking was awesome and the margs were cold. The only two negatives in my mind were the lack of squirt guns, as my friend and I had the only two we saw, and the dismal road signs in WI. I'm now a parrothead for life.

Review : This had to be the BEST Buffett concert I have ever been to... I'd never been to Alpine before, and was amazed at how great the tailgating was! The crowd was really into the concert, and I could hear everyone singing along, even to the more obscure songs. Highlights were Peanut Butter Conspiracy, Pagscalouga Run, Southern Cross, and Semi-true Stories. I am DEFINITELY going back next year - it's worth the 6 hour drive!

Review : Buffett rocked!!! This is my 5 year in a row and I was very pleased again this year. The set list was great and included some song that I didn't think were that great, that is until I heard them live. I can't wait til next year. A bit of advice, if you haven't seen Bubba at Alpine Valley yet, you don't know what your missing. The tailgate parties were crazier than ever!!

Review : One of the best concerts of Bubba's that I have attended. Alpine proved to be a great place to see a show. Song after song of old mixed in with the new. Math Suks was a crowd pleaser, although there was a few as always who were less hesitate then myself to scream at the top of their lungs, "MATH SUKS!" Looking forward to my 19th concert in Cincinnati at Riverbend! Keep it up Bubba!

Review : I never thought any concert could top the first time I saw Buffett, but the Alpine Valley concert was the best Buffett show I've seen. This was my fourth, definately not my last, and the 2nd time I've seen him at Alpine. Heard some songs that I hadn't seen live before and they rocked. Played all the classics and the crowd got into them. FINS was great. Hope to be back at Alpine again next year. PHINS UP!!!

Review : review-my 19th show and jimmy still knows how to make the parrotheads fly. alpine valley is the best place in the midwest to phlock and rock. 35,000 of us sang and drank the night away on the beach house on the moon. personal favorites of the night-pascagoula run, semi-true story, school boy heart and southern cross. by far the best concert he's done in quite awhile!!! before he played his last song-pacing the cage-jimmy said this ones for john-john. parrotheads were moved. thanks jimmy!!!

Review : Unfortunately this was the worst Buffett show I've seen from a fun perspective. I have never witnessed behavior displayed by so many children than at this show. I was forced to play peacemaker to at least 5 fights, and in one of those displays of behavior by so-called fans a 50-year old woman was struck in the face. I saw a teenager use his handicapped friend to ram his way down the hill over the heels of people trying to enjoy the show. Not only were there tons more jerks there than any other show I've seen, but Alpine staff was non-existent and lazy. As far as I'm concerned Alpine Valley has seen the last of me. I've seen over 100 shows, and seen Buffett 5 times, and 95% were people just trying to have fun. This was not like that. I'd wager the older crowd enjoyed this very little, and sad but true, its the "kids" fault. Thumbs down on Alpine, thumbs up Jimmy...when you could hear him. Perhaps the ticket-scalping problem has turned Alpine into an upper-classed, greedy, rude venue. By the way, if you're a scalper...thanks alot for doing your best to ruin a good thing.

Review : I've seen Jimmy play all over the midwest, the past three years, but no show compares to the ones he plays at Alpine Valley. The crowd there is always the loudest, most fun, and always the most fun to party with before the show, and Jimmy never dissapoints. Last year at Alpine he sang "Take me out to the ballgame" because he was singing at Wrigley Field the next day. To follow up last year's stellar performance, he brought down the house with Brown eyed girl, and another saturday night. Seeing Jimmy under the stars on a hot summer night is simply unbeatable for me, Jimmy is the man, he's the man to so many generations. I only hope he continues to do his tours till the day he dies.
