Are any of you guys worried about their switching back and forth on their TOS. Some of you have sent me invites to join but I never have. After their changing their TOS and then changing it back it makes me wonder if they will change it back again in the future only on the d/l.

Terms of Service. There was a big debate that when you upload pictures and what not onto FB whether they become FB property or not.

Right now facebook has gone back to the policy in place prior to 2/4 while it works to revise it's TOS. One of the issues that several sites such as consumerist brought up was the fact that not only would FB own the rights to your pictures but also be able to use them for whatever means they want - including selling them for profit or publicity. This not only applies to your pictures but also anything posted there. Even though they went back to the "old" TOS I find myself wondering if you posted a picture on 2/10 that they found they could make a profit on by selling it would they use it because at the time you uploaded the picture the controversial TOS was in effect. According to what I've read a lot of their ability to use your photos also depends on your user settings.

Seems to me the change of TOS pretty much slipped by FB users. I've been told a message was sent to all FB users - not sure if that's true or not. I would be willing to bet that the majority of those who received the message ignored it. I also wonder if the with the next TOS change they will just not notify users and make a change unnoticed.

I don't remember getting a message about a change.

Can I delete the photos/videos I have on there?

I am there.

Facebook has gone back to it's original terms of service. So if you leave facebook, the photos are your property

They caved on this issue.

I'm sure you can however what I'm not sure of is if they are actually deleted from their database.

They caved yet at the same time also said they would still be working on a revision to their TOS
