What a great show! The band rocks! Fingers rules! Jimmy was too cute forgetting lyrics and messing up timing on some of the songs. His Michigan references doubled from previous shows. Save Tiger Stadium! Go Wings! Plug Jim Harrison whenever you get a chance! Traverse City/Lake Leelanau girls are cutest! Escanaba? Where'd you pull THAT one from, Jimmy?

He said the band had more fun than the audience. Hard to believe, but I'll take his word for it. Most excellent weather, too. Hot in the parking lot but by the time we got to the lawn it was just right. Fins up people! You're the best! (My revisions to the set list may not be 100% accurate ... I was having TOO MUCH FUN!)

What a great time was had by all. The parking lot was in full swing by the time we arrived. Crazy things everywhere!! When going into the gate I got a parrot balloon hat from the guy on stilts and my sister-in-law got Michael Utley's autograph. I only wish that he played in Michigan more than just one night.

From Jen Rider:

Was at the pine knob concert last night and I just thought I'd let ya know that about an hour and a half before the show started Club Trini came out and played for about 45 minutes in the parking lot by the entrance gates. It was great!!! Not many people saw it, and you could get a front row view!!! The show was also great, although I don't have the exact set list. Nothing like a Buffett concert when it's 90 degrees out!!!!! Buffett rules!!

90 Degrees??? Try 100!!! The show was excellent!!! I got the feeling though it was his last one... he hinted at "Seeing me off at the New Years Eve" show.

Review : What a riot!!! Jimmy is always the best concert of the summer. That's why i'm seeing hin in Ohio also! Lots of parrothead activities going on in the parking lot on June 8. Needless to say that I was partaking in a little myself(okay alot). As for his last tour...bah humbug. He may take a couple of years off, but I don't he'll quit for good-he loves it too damn much! Hey Pine Knob, lower your ticket prices for obstructed seats so Jimmy will go back to playing multiple shows in Michigan again!!! I don't like driving to Ohio all the time(not that Ohio is a bad place). Hey Jimmy, see you in Columbus!Party on and be good to each other! Parrothead forever, Glenbob.
