Can anyone help me with the settings for total recorder? I would like to know the best settings for recording the shows. Specifically there is a pull down menu on the interface that has a bunch of numbers from 01 to 15. Not sure what they do, or if there are other settings I need to know about.

The only setting you really need to change is in the recording parameters. Set it to 44,100, 16 bit, stereo. I beleive it defaults to 22,050 which will give you less than desirable quality after the recording is burned...

The 0-15 you are referring to is a timer. If you have purchased Total Recorder and input your pass # , you have nothing to worry about. If you only downloaded the freeware copy, you will only be able to record up to 15 minutes.

It's just a Cuban crime of passion
Messy and old fashioned
Yeah, that's what the papers did say
It's just a Cuban crime of passion
Anjejo and knives a slashin'
Yeah but that's what the people like to read about
Up in America, up in America
(What does "Anjejo" (ahn-yay-hoe) mean anyway??)

On Total Recorder where it has the Pre-Recording tab, what should the settings be?
Thanks

Hey SS..
Añejo is a reference to a type of Tequila. Supposedly, it is a better distilation of the Tequila, usually aged three years in oak barrels.
My personal favorite is Don Julio Añejo, you'll find lots of information about all the different types and the product in general at the following location:

Añejo is also used to refer to the aging of Rum and cigars.
