Re: LOOKING FOR NEW DIP RECIPES
Good with taco chips or "Scoops" and SO easy
8 oz block cream cheese
8 oz Jar Salsa, mild, medium or hot, to taste (I use medium)
Shredded cheese (cheddar, or a mix. I buy pre-shredded "Mexican" cheese)
Spread cream cheese evenly in 8 or 9 inch glass pie plate. Cover with most of a jar of Salsa. Cover with shredded cheese. Microwave about 8-10 minutes until cheese is bubbly. Serve with chips or crackers.

Re: LOOKING FOR NEW DIP RECIPES
One of the easiest things I've ever done ... and one of the most popular, so you may already have it ...
8 oz cream cheese - at room temperature
1 package of lunch meat (I've used ham, roast beef, pastrami) - the kind you find in the meat section of the grocery store. It's sliced really, really thin ... like paper, almost
1 bunch green onions, chopped (I used mostly the green tops)
tash of Tabasco
Cut the meat into tiny cubes by slicing one way, then turning and slicing the other.
Combine ingredients. Roll into a ball. Chill.
There's usually not a speck left.
You could also try Vicki's Phabulous Marinated Olives ... they have been a super hit at parties for me.

Salsa Dip
8 oz sour cream
8 oz mayonnaise
1 pkg Knorr's spring vegetable soup
1 jar chunky salsa (mild to spicy....depending on how you like it)
Mix all together the night before......great with tortilla chips....also really good on baked potatoes.

Re: LOOKING FOR NEW DIP RECIPES
We found this from Paula Dean and used it this year at Christmas..
http://www.pauladeenmagazine.com/recipe ... php?id=226
We don't use the pound of bacon, just 1/2 that.
The key is to make sure your cream cheese is soft when you start cooking. Also make sure the spinach and onions are thawed completely to make sure all the water is out.
YUMMY!

Re: LOOKING FOR NEW DIP RECIPES
Easiest thing you'll ever make:
Place one package cream cheese on a plate (leave it whole)
Pour about 1/2 cup or so of Roasted Rasberry Chipotle sauce over the top.
place a spreader, and crackers next to it.... it will be gone in minutes!

Re: LOOKING FOR NEW DIP RECIPES
another easy "mexican" type dip....
2 blocks softened cream cheese
chili with or with out beans..i use the large bush's jar without beans or you could use 2 cans or homemade
shredded cheddar or mix of cheddar and monteray jack
spread cream cheese in a pie pan, cover with chili and then top with cheese. bake at 350 until cheese is melted. serve with tortilla chips or crackers of your choice.

Re: LOOKING FOR NEW DIP RECIPES
Quick Dip
1 lb of sour cream
1/2 packet of onion soup mix
dump mix into sour cream, mix thoroughly. It comes out brown and has more
kick than commercial onion dip. Looks nasty but will disappear quick.

Who's got the rum?

Re: LOOKING FOR NEW DIP RECIPES
This is so easy and Dons favorite.....he actually even makes it
1 cans black beans drained
1 jar chuncky salsa
1/2 - 1 bunch chopped cilantro
bacon bits (real if possible)
better after setting in the fridge for a day but good right away as well.
We have started adding a can of drained corn as well and it is even better. (probably half a can)
measurements are not so important on this
