Seeing how there has been much discussion about how Jimmy gives back to his fans I have decided to do something new for the 2010 Big Top tour. There is a new folder on the server labeled: 2010.99.99 Big Top Tour Compilation. This compilation contains the entire opening show from Tampa plus the songs Jimmy added to the set lists in Atlanta and St. Louis. The folder contains four folders labeled 1st set, 2nd set, 3rd encores, bonus tracks. Each of the different songs that Jimmy has done in each set have been placed in the appropriate folders. The bonus tracks folder contains the three songs Jimmy did with Zac Brown in Atlanta.
As the tour progress the compilation folder will be added to as Jimmy changes the set list. By the end of the tour the compilation will be like a super sized concert. As of today the compilation contains 46 tracks which breaks down as follows 21 1st set songs, 15 2nd set songs, 7 encores, and 3 bonus tracks.
Enjoy

Love the super concert concept. Thanks for doing it.
Have a question. What's your thinking behind the folders for each "set"? Is it more than just the somewhat logical chunking of concert songs?

I set the folders up to reflect the structure of the concerts and set list changes from show to show. This way when jimmy adds a song to say the first set as he did this past week, the song will be in the folder with all the other songs played during the first sets this year. Same thing for the second set and encore folders.
The bonus tracks folder is for those special songs like the three with Zac Brown from Atlanta.

urlcenter,
thanks so much!
do you want to include
Smart Woman (In A Real Short Skirt) from the Nashville show in the Bonus Section since it included Marshall Chapman? just a thought.
thanks again.

If Jimmy plays again at another show without her then I will switch the two.

I like this idea.

It is definitely a way to stretch out the summer with a collection that may end up being a 6 or 7 hour show!

Is there any way to tell when a song was added to Jokelben? One of my very favorite songs of Jimmy's is "Come on In" It is on Jokelben in the "Odds and Ends - Volume 3" file and also in the Treasure Box File - Disc 5. It is the same version in both places. And it is very definitely from a concert. But according to the Lyrics data base on BN the song has never been played at a concert. So being the anal retentive person I am, I am trying to figure out when Jimmy did sing this last in front of an audience. But before I go through every set list trying to track it down I just wandered if there might be an easier way of finding out when it was recorded and/or posted.
I just love Jokelben!!!!! Thank you so much!!!!!

That song comes from the Club Trini CD,
Late Night Live, released in 2000. It also includes Club Trini Back In Town and Cairo, which are frequently played on RM.

As a frequent downloader and sometimes uploader, I'd like to thank YOU for making it available. I could even begin to guess how much space is used and know that it doesn't come free. Having a central place to trade all-things-Buffett is the best!
