Today Show - 11/30/2004

Post by LIPH »

I didn't see this one in jokelben so I just uploaded it to a folder called 2004.11.30 - Today Show, NYC. Jimmy was on the Today Show plugging the book A Salty Piece Of Land and he did 2 songs:
1. A Salty Piece Of Land
2. Christmas In The Caribbean

It wasn't the whole band, just Ralph MacDonald, Mac McAnally, Robert Greendige and Michael Utley.

edit: I must have done something wrong because after I uploaded it the folder was empty. I tried a second time and both songs are in the folder now. The same 2 songs are probably floating around in another folder somewhere, sorry.

Thanks for the upload, Larry.

I have video for the two songs, along with the Matt Lauer interview. Don't seem to have the source noted (and don't see them on YouTube), so I think it may have come from the network's website at some point. I added them to your folder, if anyone would like to "see" in addition to "hearing".

Hey LIPH,

Your upload was actually a milestone for jokelben being the 455th dated live performance to be uploaded to the server.

Way to go and thanks

I think that deserves a margarita. And I was at that show too. At least I was in Rockefeller Plaza watching it on the TV monitors since JB was in the studio, not outside. When he was done, I walked across the street, got on the elevator and went to work.
