I know that many BNers are fans of hot sauce. In the past year my wife and I have started to experiment with using these sauces on a more regular basis. In fact, we recently visited Peppers of Key West ( http://www.peppersofkeywest.com/) and had a case of various sauces shipped back home.
I'd welcome your ideas, recipes, suggestions, etc. as to how you enjoy using hot sauces in your meals. If you have any web site links about hot sauces, please feel free to share them, too, OK? I'm sure other BNers would enjoy knowing as well.
Bring on the heat.......and thanks for your input!
On most days I say: "Wrinkles only go where the smiles have been...."
Sometimes I can only say: "There is no dumbass vaccine......"
If something or someone gets you down, just remember: "In a hundred years it all won’t matter.........."
Personally I'm more about the flavor than the heat.
For an everyday sauce that's good on just about anything. I like
Frank's Red Hot,
Crystal,
Trappey's Bull Sauce.
Others that have a place in the pantry are
Sriracha chili sauce (you've probably seen it...plastic bottle with a rooster on it)
A local seafood market (I.C Sharks) bottles their own Datil pepper suace. Sweet with a kick.
For more adventure..I'll give in to a tamed down Habanero.
One that's available everywhere and I don't know why, is the traditional TABASCO...blech.
Hoist up the mainsail...add a little BAM to the ginger ale...

One question: Where have you found this hot chili sauce that I can't pronounce? What foods do you use it on? Inquiring minds want to know......
I found it at Wal-Mart and at most supermarkets. Sometimes it is in the Asian food aisle. I used it on a lot of stuff, Eggs, burgers, pizza, tuna sandwiches, it is not too spicy, but gives a great flavor.

Thanks, I'll check that out.......
We've found the "original" hot wings sauce at our local supermarket from the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY:
Have you ever had Texas Pete - It's made in NC ( you have to read why a sauce made in NC is called Texas Pete) Anyway- It's Awesome!!! In NC we put Texas Pete on almost everything, fries, eggs, meats, casseroles, wings...

My wife uses it for a killer Buffalo Chicken pizza.....the blue cheese crumbles on top are especiallt tasty!
Frank's is great for making your own wing sauce...add butter.
It *claims* to be the original sauce used at the Anchor Bar. I use it on just about everything.
First tried it at a hotel restaurant in Rochester, NY...on eggs.
Fantastic.
Hoist up the mainsail...add a little BAM to the ginger ale...
Whenever I'm in Ocean City, MD I check out Pepper's Tavern at 16th and the Boardwalk.
They have a nice hot sauce room with an interesting selection. Also wicked hot-wings,
Mexican food, and a 48 ounce Megarita. Also their own bloody mary bar where you
can mix your own concoction.
