Sailing to Philadelphia, anyone have it?
I need a little help, the database for songs and lyrics says that Jimmy played the Mark Knopfler song "sailing to philadelpia" during his show in Camden on 9/6/2001. I just checked that show on Jokelben and don't see it in the setlist. I would love to hear it if anyone knows where I can find it if it does exist.
I'm back to livin' Floridays

I was there and he did play it as an encore. It was fantastic. If you find it, please let us know.jbfinscj wrote:I need a little help, the database for songs and lyrics says that Jimmy played the Mark Knopfler song "sailing to philadelpia" during his show in Camden on 9/6/2001. Trouble in paradise that night.
RM didn't even broadcast that song. I think we got a little bit of Farside of the World for the first time.
It seems to me that James Taylor had just recorded that song on one of his albums too. Nice how Jimmy picks out songs that fit in with the locale.

Yup. On the bonus disc for the album "October Road" James Taylor sings it with Mark Knopfler. One of my favorite tracks on that.
Sorry, but I can't help with finding a recording of Jimmy's version that you're looking for.
