Odd place for him but glad he is somewhere on Long Island

When I lived on Long Island, Mac used to play at Stephen Talkhouse. That was a 180 mile round trip from where I lived. Now that I don't live there anymore, he plays at Mulcahys. That's less than a 20 mile round trip from where I used to live. Story of my life - wrong place, wrong time. BTW, you spelled "Wantagh" wrong.

Yep -I'm going! For $20 bucks can't go wrong -although it is about an hour west of me but Mac is worth the trip

Seeing him at the Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun tomorrow - I just hope they shut the TV's off around the bar, it would be sad if he has to compete with the Patriots game - this will be difficult because I care about the outcome of the game too but a rare winter visit from Mac trumps football for this weekend!

Then I would offer him a Landshark and I shot of Margaritaville tequila and watch him grimace.

Had a great time at the show too. Made up for the fact that I had to be at work the next day.

The Talkhouse is a nice place to have a show. But it would have been too far for me. Mulcahy's is just across the street from a LIRR station. So that was convenient for me.

Going to see him again.

Nope. If you're sitting in New England, it's "Compete with the Patriots game" no matter who wins. If you're sitting in Baltimore, it's "Compete with the Ravens game."
